Judah Gavra

After completing a 3 years of army service as a lead singer in the Military Band, Judah taught music, dancing and acting at a Jewish summer camp in New York. After this period of teaching, Judah found himself in 2006 in Israel again, planning to study performing arts in Israel. But then he got an unexpected phone call: his ex-commander from the Army, where he had served as a lead singer in the Rabbanuth Choir, asked him if he would like to be a cantor in a Brooklyn synagogue during Yom Kippur. The new visit led him to reconsider schools in the city.

Judah auditioned at American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and was awarded a sizable scholarship. Since graduating from AMDA in February 2009 following two years of study, he has performed in the theater industry constantly. His credits include: a concert in Carnegie Hall-NYC, Broadway on Broadway (Dancer) in Time Square, performed in The Full Monty twice, Aida,The Best Little house in Texas, Kingdom, The Tenth Floor (part of the NYMF festival 2010),Broadway Sensation in Lincoln Center, and more.
